Okay, so the acting isn't the best. Neither are the special effects. Despite this, I've been thoroughly entertained and captivated for the entirety of the last 80 minutes by an excellent plot that keeps you on your toes, genuinely excellent humour and enough confusion to keep you thinking but not to frustrate.

Since this movie makes absolutely no effort in concealing it's a knock off of Home Alone, I guess you can let it get away with it. The only difference is, an ex K9 cop named Zeus takes the place of Kevin.

I am really am grateful that I have such loyal friends that drag me to movies I wouldn’t ordinarily see. Obsessed is one of those films. I saw the trailer and pretty much wrote the flick off as another one of those crazed stalker films where the single lady sets her eyes on the prize even if the man has a ring on his finger. The wife and the stranger eventually have a violent interaction and the only question is who will survive long enough to be hauled in the paddywagon and tried for manslaughter.

Confucius ( Chinese: 孔子) is a 2010 Chinese biographical film directed by Hu Mei, starring Chow Yun-fat as the titular Chinese philosopher.

Production on the film began in March 2009 with shooting on location in China's Hebei province and in Hengdian World Studios in Zhejiang.

The film was scheduled to screen later in 2009 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic China , as well as the 2,560th birthday of Confucius himself. However, the release date was later moved to January 2010.

People say one’s fate has been pre-determined from the start like the cards in a Texas Hold’em game. Uno (Lau Ching Wan), a small time crook turned Casino magnate, and Jack, the scion of a powerful gaming clan lead very different lives until fate brought them together in a poker duel of a lifetime...

The setting is Macau, Las Vegas of the Orient, where the buzz in town is that Uno has snared the operations of the venerable Sun Casinos from its deceased owner. In a bid to clear his name, he has the sole heir Jack (Louis Koo) brought back from Canada where he spent the last few years in hiding. Jack, an inept businessman and a socially awkward young man, spent his days playing online poker. When it became clear that he has neither the instinct nor the skills to take over, Uno invokes the owner’s will and takes charge of Jack's family business.
Disillusioned and depressed, Jack runs into Smiley (Stephy Tang), a simple girl with a seemingly unstoppable good fortune. Together the pair conquers the poker rooms in Macau until Jack is summoned by Uno's arch rival Ms. Fong (Josie Ho) to represent her corporation in the ultimate Poker King tournament. As Jack issues a personal challenge to Uno, it becomes clear that it isn't only bragging rights at stake, but also the throne to the gambling empire that Jack’s father had built. In the end, there can only be one Poker King
