A thinly fictionalized account of a legendary movie director, whose desire to hunt down an animal turns into a grim situation with his movie crew in Africa.

"The Secret Circle" centers on Cassie Blake (Britt Robertson), a normal teenage girl who's mother Amelia dies in a fire. She moves in with her grandmother Jane (Ashley Crow) to Chance Harbor, Washington. When she arrives, Cassie realizes that everyone knows more about her than she knows herself. When she gets to school, she meets a wide variety of friends including Diana (Shelly Hennig) and her boyfriend Adam (Thomas Dekker), a Loner named Nick (Louis Hunter) and mean-girl Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) and her sidekick Melissa (Jessica Parker-Kennedy). Strange and frightening things begin to happen in the little town when they tell that they are descendants of witches.

The U.S. military makes a scarred bounty hunter with warrants on his own head an offer he cannot refuse: in exchange for his freedom, he must stop a terrorist who is ready to unleash Hell on Earth.
