Using the LithTech engine, Sniper is a first person shooter Mafia game set in the 1980s. Dominick is a top hitman who recently lost a prominent member to death from his crime family in Las Vegas. People say one’s fate has been pre-determined from the start like the cards in a Texas Hold’em game. Uno (Lau Ching Wan), a small time crook turned Casino magnate, and Jack, the scion of a powerful gaming clan lead very different lives until fate brought them together in a poker duel of a lifetime...

The setting is Macau, Las Vegas of the Orient, where the buzz in town is that Uno has snared the operations of the venerable Sun Casinos from its deceased owner. In a bid to clear his name, he has the sole heir Jack (Louis Koo) brought back from Canada where he spent the last few years in hiding. Jack, an inept businessman and a socially awkward young man, spent his days playing online poker. When it became clear that he has neither the instinct nor the skills to take over, Uno invokes the owner’s will and takes charge of Jack's family business.
Disillusioned and depressed, Jack runs into Smiley (Stephy Tang), a simple girl with a seemingly unstoppable good fortune. Together the pair conquers the poker rooms in Macau until Jack is summoned by Uno's arch rival Ms. Fong (Josie Ho) to represent her corporation in the ultimate Poker King tournament. As Jack issues a personal challenge to Uno, it becomes clear that it isn't only bragging rights at stake, but also the throne to the gambling empire that Jack’s father had built. Like the other Pure… sets, Pure... Hip-Hop is a cheaply priced four-disc box set that is heavy on hits, while there are plenty of deeper -- but smartly chosen -- cuts as well. This one spans the ‘80s, ‘90s, and 2000s. It’s led by Cypress Hill's “How I Could Just Kill a Man,” Special Ed's “I Got It Made,” Too Short's “Life Is Too Short,” Goodie Mob's “Cell Therapy,” OutKast’s “So Fresh, So Clean,” and Clipse’s “When the Last Time.” There are a couple stylistic outliers, like Ini Kamoze and Zhane, but it still offers a useful, if somewhat random, assortment of rap singles.

The back of the box asks us to "think like a manager". Now thats just asking for trouble. We dont want to end up the subject of a Panorama expose - not until were close to making our first billion, anyway. By then well have a castle in space and find ourselves eating dates off the toned backsides of nubile princesses and will laugh in the face of financial investigations. The Wikipedia entry will read like Hunter S. Thompsons secret life as Ron Atkinsons therapist. Lets think [sharpens knives]. Dare we even speculate how a football manager really thinks in this money-obsessed age of bungs, divers and prima donna underwear models masquerading as professional sportsmen?
