They’re not actually the best of friends, there’s been some falling out over the years, but when Charlie’s wife Grace dies this dairy farmer from Warrnambool loses it. He just sits around the house, stunned at his loss.

People say one’s fate has been pre-determined from the start like the cards in a Texas Hold’em game. Uno (Lau Ching Wan), a small time crook turned Casino magnate, and Jack, the scion of a powerful gaming clan lead very different lives until fate brought them together in a poker duel of a lifetime...

The setting is Macau, Las Vegas of the Orient, where the buzz in town is that Uno has snared the operations of the venerable Sun Casinos from its deceased owner. In a bid to clear his name, he has the sole heir Jack (Louis Koo) brought back from Canada where he spent the last few years in hiding. The countryside is overrun by zombies, with only a few pockets of survivors just scraping by here and there. One such person is Aya, the next to the last member of a clan gifted in the ways of the sword, who thusly handles the undead with relative ease, though she has her sights on her younger sister, Saki, for the murder of their father. By Aya's side is Katsuji who has had similar hardships; his kid sister has been kidnapped by the evil D3 corporation and the zombie it's created, and he too is out for revenge. Later they meet another ass-kicking lady shows up, Reiko, who wages war with a sawed off shot-gun. After the zombies are done away with, they immediately set their sights on each other. But Aya's cowardly and bumbling, yet lovable assistant Katsuji manages to convince each other that they're all fighting for the same thing, and a truce is formed

When the Extreme Cage Fighting(ECF) league, the preeminent full contact fighting promoters, announce a competition to select the best undiscovered fighter, Ringo’s friends urge him to join. Ringo, once again, claims he is not ready. Even KARA, Ringo’s love interest, pushes him to join, but Ringo resists. Seeing his skill and desire to become a professional she surprises him with a last minute visit to the ECF: Undiscovered registration. Eight fighters will be selected. Thousands submit and the chances of making the cut are slim. One day, at Ringo’s local training gym, the ECF owner and current heavyweight
champion enter the gym followed by a camera crew.
Christopher watches Ringo practicing. Christopher, aware of Ringo’s mother, chats with Ringo and ends up putting on the gloves for a quick spar. Ringo knocks him down as the cameras roll and it ends up on sports news shows across the nation. Will he fulfill his life long dream and continue his mothers legacy? Will he be the best fighter in the world?

SHORT REVIEW: There are vampires, there are giant drooling half-man/half-dogs and plenty of overacting. In these respects, it’s a little like being at an Oscar party.
I have a few notes to all of Hollywood. If you’re going to insist on making sequels, please do these three things:
