This is the latest version of the Garmin Mobile XT software for the Symbian platform, version 5.00.50, dated 15 April 2009. To install, simply download the compressed RAR archive and open it using WinRAR or 7-Zip. Drag the contents of the "GMXT" directory to the root (ie. top folder) of your memory card. Answer "yes" when asked if you want to replace whatever folders and files during copying. Do not drag the entire "GMXT" folder, just the items inside it to the root of your memory card. Then, simply tap the GarminMobileXT.sis program in your phone's file manager program to install it. Once done, you can delete the "GarminMobileXT.sis" program from the root of the memory card. It may be advisable to backup your data (maps, saved POIs, etc) before upgrading in case something goes wrong.
