A 3D action-adventure RPG set in a fantasy world in which you journey through underground cities, massive towers, frozen fortresses and more in your ultimate quest to overthrow an evil dragon, Blade of Darkness features four main characters, each trained in specific areas of combat. Based on which character you select (Amazon, barbarian, dwarf, or knight), the initial stages of your quest will differ, from the environments you encounter, down to some of the individual quests you become engaged in.
You can select either a first- or third-person view depending on your preference, and you can switch between the two perspectives at any point during gameplay. There are 18 levels to explore, including Arabic palaces, Hindu temples, volcanoes, deserts, and icy landscapes. During your quest, you'll encounter enemies ranging from orcs and trolls to skeletons and Minotaurs. Aiding you in fighting the good fight are over 80 weapons, including swords, axes, bows, and your ever-lovin' fists.
