Evanescence (from the English. Vanish) - American rock band, founded in 1995 by singer Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody. The Group has achieved great popularity in early 2003 with their album Fallen. Fallen sold 15 million copies and brought a group of 2 Grammy Awards. In 2004 came the first live album by Evanescence, Anywhere but Home. In 2006 they released their second studio album, The Open Door, which sold nearly 6 million copies.
