One of the things this release might suffer from is too much information. The two discs contain nearly two hours of music. That being said‚ besides Vangelis' original music the release includes traditional English sailor fiddle tunes as well as Tahitian chants and percussion. Lastly‚ the sound in many parts of the release is very poor‚ but nonetheless‚ tolerable. Despite these distractions or drawbacks‚ the music of this score is truly epic and an essential part of any serious Vangelis collector's repertoir.
