Hitting the pavement and climbing along the way - Road trips are quite simple, really. Pack an automobile with climbing gear, food, drinks, and friends, add massive stretches of open road, a few rocks, and those drinks I mentioned (not while you’re driving, of course), and you’ve got yourself a bona fide road trip. You don’t go on a road trip just for the climbing. It’s more about getting out of your backyard for once: twisting the keys, slamming your foot on the accelerator, and heading off in whichever direction you feel like going.
