Masha and the Bear are the characters of the popular Russian folk tale. You can see not only the relationship between a girl and a wild animal, but also a different kind of relations between a child and an adult, a little kid and the whole world.

Once upon a time there lived an old man and woman who had a granddaughter named Masha. One day some friends of Masha's decide to go to the forest to pick mushrooms and berries. So they come to Masha's house and ask her to go with them...
