Apologies with our first crack. Our newly coded Solidshield tool had a bug which was related to the VMs handling of unsupported x86 opcodes. This caused the crashing on level 7. We located the problem and fixed it.
Dead Space 2 now plays past level 7 and to the end of the game without issue.
