Storyline: In At Night I Fly: Images from New Folsom, inmates at one of California's most maximum security prisons let us see their world. This world is less about dangerous drama and more, as one of them describes, 'about isolation. About closure of both the mind and the heart. And the spirit.' The documentary shows prisoners, most serving a life sentence, who refuse such closure and instead work to uncover and express themselves. Their primary tool is making art and the film takes us to New Folsom's Arts in Corrections' room, to prison poetry readings, gospel choirs, blues guitar on the yard, and to many more scenes of creation.

They are following a cast of wild animal characters, and present the latest updates on them as they try to survive the toughest month of the year. * VERTICAL MOTION SIMULATOR
At the Ames Research Center in San Jose, Calif., NASA has built one of the largest three-dimensional motion simulators in the world. Consisting of a simulated airplane cockpit that sits on top of a platform supported by a number of hydraulic pistons, this machine is housed in a 120-foot-high, 73-foot-wide and 36-foot-deep building. Matt will live his childhood dream by sitting in the astronaut's seat and guided by a pilot, he will experience a real-life simulation of the space shuttle's re-entry.
* BLAST HOLE DRILL
Back at the Aitik Mine in Gallivare, Sweden, Matt gets down and dirty and hops on board the 70-foot-tall, 340,000-pound machine that can bore into the earth to depths of 500 feet and below. Matt supports the crew in mapping out the drill pattern, drilling the hole and filling the blast holes with liquid explosives. Blasts usually consist of 200 to 300 holes, each hole containing one ton of explosives. Matt will have the power to blast up to 300 holes at once.
* LBT TELESCOPE
Matt Rogers accompanies a team of astronomers to visit the world's highest concentration of observatories pointing at the universe in Safford, Ariz. He will introduce viewers to the world's largest binocular telescope. Housed in an 18-story-high building, the telescope has side-by-side twin mirrors, each measuring 28 feet. With the collaboration of the United States and European countries, the construction of this machine was no small feat. The $100 million facility will help astronomers to see objects far deeper into space, surpassing the visuals from the Hubble Space Telescope.

Storyline: John Carter, a Civil War veteran who in 1868 was trying to live a normal life, is 'asked' by the Army to join. But he refuses so he is locked up. He escapes and is pursued. Eventually they run into some Indians and there's a gunfight. Carter seeks refuge in a cave. While there he encounters someone who is holding some kind of medallion. When Carter touches it, he finds himself in a place where he can leap incredible heights, among other things. He later encounters beings he has never seen before. Later he meets a woman who helps him to discover that he is on Mars. And he learns there's some kind of unrest going on.

The dueling gangs of local kingpins Dash and Antuan terrorize the streets and the citizens live without a shred of hope... until mysterious stranger Ryan Hong (Cung Le) arrives in town. However, just as he begins to bring the community under control, Hong is confronted by Mr. V, the town's ruthless and corrupt police chief.
